Soya Chaap Butter Masala

Ingredients:

  • Soya chaap: 500g
  • Onions: 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes: 3 (pureed)
  • Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies: 2 (chopped)
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam masala: 1 tsp
  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Fresh coriander: for garnish

Process:

  1. Fry soya chaap pieces in butter until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until oil separates.
  5. Add fried chaap and garam masala, cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in fresh cream and garnish with coriander.
  7. Serve hot with naan or roti.
